Packaging and Presentation

The Churchills has been offered in various packaging configurations throughout its long production history. Currently available presentations include dress boxes containing 25 cigars, dress boxes of 10 cigars housed in aluminum tubes, and display boxes featuring 15 tubed cigars arranged in five cardboard packs of three. Dress boxes of 10 untubed cigars were discontinued around 2000, while the traditional Cajón containing 100 cigars was phased out during the 1980s.

The tube packaging underwent a significant transition around 2008, when standard aluminum tubes were replaced with premium tubes. Band configurations have also evolved: Tubos releases prior to approximately 2008 featured a special Romeo y Julieta Churchill band, while post-2008 tubed cigars display the standard band B accompanied by the special Churchill band. Boxes of 10 and 25 cigars without tubes are adorned with the standard band A.
