History and Production

Punch Panetelas — Cuban cigar

The Punch Panetelas was originally released prior to 1960, making it one of the older established formats within the Punch portfolio. The cigar enjoyed a lengthy production run spanning several decades before being discontinued during the 1980s.

As a pre-Revolution release, this vitola represents an important piece of Punch brand heritage. The Panetelas format was popular among cigar enthusiasts who preferred a thinner ring gauge with a moderate smoking time.

Construction and Presentation

Each Punch Panetelas was entirely handmade, reflecting the traditional Cuban craftsmanship associated with the Punch marque. The cigars featured the standard Punch band (band A) and were presented in dress boxes containing 25 cigars, a classic presentation format that complemented the brand's distinguished reputation.

With its 34 ring gauge and 117 mm length, the Panetelas offered smokers a refined, elegant smoking experience characteristic of the thinner vitolas that were more prevalent in earlier eras of Cuban cigar production.
