La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.2

La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.2

The Medaille d'Or No.2 was a distinguished member of the La Gloria Cubana portfolio, representing the brand's commitment to traditional Cuban cigar craftsmanship. This regular production vitola was eventually discontinued in 2014, marking the end of an era for enthusiasts who had come to appreciate its particular qualities. The cigar traced its origins back to before 1960, making it one of the older established releases within the La Gloria Cubana lineup.

History and Status

As a pre-1960 release, the Medaille d'Or No.2 carried decades of heritage within the Cuban cigar tradition. The Dalias vitola measured 170 millimeters in length with a 43 ring gauge, positioning it as a substantial smoke for the discerning aficionado. After more than five decades of production, the cigar was officially discontinued in 2014, joining the ranks of other beloved Cuban cigars that have been retired from active production.
