Band History and Packaging Evolution

The Magnum 46 has undergone several transformations in its presentation over the years. Prior to approximately 2005, the cigar was sold without any band. Between roughly 2005 and 2008, it featured the standard H. Upmann bands A, B, or C. Since around 2008, the cigar has sported the standard band C accompanied by a distinctive secondary band specifically designed for the Magnum 46, giving it a more premium and recognizable appearance.
Aluminum tubes were introduced around 2009, adding another layer of protection and presentation to this classic vitola. The packaging options have evolved as well:

- Current Presentation: Display box containing 15 aluminum tubed cigars, arranged in 5 cardboard packs of 3 (introduced circa 2009)
- Slide Lid Box of 25: Remains in production
- Slide Lid Box of 50: Officially discontinued in 2012, though examples have been documented with production dates as recent as May 2014
- Cardboard Pack of 3: Discontinued around 2009

Special Releases
In 2010, a special ceramic jar containing 30 Magnum 46 cigars was produced exclusively for the Western European market, creating a sought-after collector's item among aficionados.
