Fonseca Invictos

Fonseca Invictos

The Fonseca Invictos represents a piece of Cuban cigar history that is no longer in production. This discontinued vitola was part of the regular production lineup from the Fonseca brand, one of Cuba's established cigar manufacturers. With its origins dating back to before 1960, the Invictos enjoyed a production run spanning several decades before being retired in 2002.

Historical Background

The Invictos entered the market prior to 1960, making it one of the older releases in the Fonseca portfolio. Throughout its production history, this cigar maintained limited availability, suggesting it may have been produced in smaller quantities compared to other vitolas in the brand's range. After more than four decades of production, the Invictos was officially discontinued in 2002, leaving collectors and enthusiasts to seek remaining stock from secondary markets.

Presentation and Packaging

Consistent with traditional Cuban cigar presentation, the Fonseca Invictos was wrapped in tissue paper, a characteristic feature of the Fonseca brand. Each cigar bore the standard band A designation. The cigars were packaged in dress boxes containing 25 units, each individually wrapped in tissue to preserve freshness and protect the wrapper leaf.

Availability Today

As a discontinued cigar with a production history ending in 2002, the Fonseca Invictos has become increasingly difficult to find. Its pre-1960 origins and limited production during its lifetime mean that surviving examples are primarily of interest to collectors and those seeking to experience a piece of Cuban cigar heritage.
