The Cohiba Selección 50 Aniversario stands as a prestigious commemorative release celebrating five decades of Cuba's most iconic cigar brand. Initially announced as a 2016 release, the Selección 50 Aniversario made its way to retailers in early 2018. The production was strictly limited to 10,000 units worldwide, making this one of the most sought-after Cohiba special editions in recent years.
Presentation
Each Selección 50 Aniversario comes housed in an elegant leather-bound travel humidor containing eight cigars total. The collection features two examples of each of the four selected vitolas, representing some of the most celebrated formats in the Cohiba portfolio.

Construction and Bands
BHK 56: This substantial vitola is entirely handmade and features the rare Medio Tiempo leaf in its blend, contributing to its distinctive character and complexity. The cigar is adorned with both Behike bands A and B.
Genios: A handmade cigar showcasing a maduro wrapper that has been aged for five years, with binder and filler tobaccos matured for three years. It carries the Cohiba Maduro band B.
Pirámides Extra: Expertly crafted by hand, this pirámides format displays the standard Cohiba band E.
Siglo VI: This robust extra vitola is handmade and presented with the standard Cohiba band E.
